Cantonese Opera
In Hong Kong, Shengong Opera mainly performs Cantonese opera, but also Teochew opera or Hokkien opera . The troupe usually performs "regular opera" on the first night of the festival and the afternoon of the main festival day, and then performs the main opera. "Regular opera" includes "Celebrating Birthday", "Promotion", " The Fairy Sends a Child " and " The Six Kingdoms Conferring Prime Ministers ", which have the meaning of praising and praying.
