Divination Cup
On December 18, 2015, the Jianjiao Committee held a divination for the Taiping Qingjiao Festival. On that day, the villagers selected three Yuanshou in front of the Dawangye altar.
The qualification of the Yuanshou is generally that he must be a male member of the community where the ceremony is held. The selection of the Yuanshou is usually held at the main temple of the community where the ceremony is held, and the gods decide by using divination cups. The person who hits the most "winning cups" (one positive and one negative) in the village is the "first Yuanshou", the second is the "second Yuanshou", and the third is the "third Yuanshou". The first Yuanshou is the leader of all the Yuanshou. During the ceremony, he holds the "Yi Ting" with the list of villagers in his hand and participates in all sacrificial ceremonies.
Choose a date
The date of the ceremony usually requires hiring a fortune teller to choose an auspicious day according to the birth year of the first person, and this timetable is called "Auspicious Lesson". The fortune teller will submit the auspicious lesson to the construction committee, detailing the orientation of the ceremony site and the date and time of the relevant rituals, and the zodiac signs that conflict with each ritual. The rituals listed in the auspicious lesson generally include "issuing the first report", "submitting the second report", "starting construction", "starting to build the ceremony tent", "submitting the third report", "preparing the stove", "welcoming the gods to the altar", "taking water to purify the altar", "raising the banner", "starting the altar and building the ceremony", "welcoming the list" or "opening the list of people", "transcending the ghost", "sending the gods back to their positions", and "thanking the gods for their grace".
The village committee for the ceremony had earlier invited Mr. Cai Boli of Zhenbudang to select a date, which was set on May 18, 2016 for the first date, August 10 for the second date, and November 11 for the third date. The ceremony will be held from November 11 to 14.

Dapeng Worship Ceremony
On the afternoon of September 4, 2016, according to the date selected by Mr. Cai Boli, the ceremony of setting up the scaffolding and starting the construction was held. On that day, the villagers sincerely worshipped and prayed for the success of the ceremony and peace in the village.
The ritual pavilion is defined by five flagpoles, which symbolize the five directions. The three realms participate in the ritual under the guidance of the flagpoles.
